Solo with 9lvl priest, hard but can be done with some potions.
Soloed as a lvl 10 druid. Mind you I did dodge him once and was at very low health… Made it by an inch, the reason being my entangling roots was resisted.

In Cataclysm he will be replaced to northwest of Dolanaar.
He is fairly decent if your a level 9 or less Druid, just Starfire, Roots, Starfire, Roots, Starfire, and it goes on. He is located north of Dolanaar, just follow the road until you see the Princess, take her quest if you haven’t done it yet then walk up “The Cleft” until you reach a cave, just FYI there can sometimes be a rare Monster there for you, drops decent things for low-levels.

I killed him as a level 9 druid as easy as killing any of the other furbolgs
When I went to kill him on my level 10 druid, he kept evading all my spells until I ran up to him so he could attack me. He did, however, target me when I was standing further from him, he just refused to move. Rather annoying to have to stand next to your target while casting spells.

- It uploads the collected data to Wowhead in order to keep the database up-to-date!
