Disney Genderbend

You woke up with your head feeling hazy and your vision extremely blurry. However, once the space in front of you began to become more clear, you soon realized that you were no longer on the ocean floor with the love of your life.
Oh no, in fact you were in a whole lot of trouble at the moment because you see, you were inside of a very small, very cramped fish tank.
Well at least there is enough water in here for me to survive‘ you think to yourself as you tried to turn to see what was behind you.
However, the slightest movement caused your tail to radiate with pain. You hissed as you looked down towards your tail fin and stopped just short of where your fin ends and your tail’s scales began. Your eyes grew wide with shock as you noticed the gaping hole in your tail that seemed to still be bleeding a bit.
That’s when your memory began to come back to you …..
~Earlier That Day~
Ursal had been planning a huge celebration for your twenty-first birthday. Of course you had told him that he didn’t really have to throw you a party, but upon his insisting, along with your brother’s, you gave in and told him not to do anything too fancy.
It actually surprised you to see Ursal and your brother get along, especially because of how he reacted when you introduced Ursal to him two months ago. Your brother was reluctant at first and downright hated Ursal for the way Ursal’s father treated the royal family after they kicked him out of power, sending him and his ancestors to the bottom depths of the ocean.
And although Ursal did apologize to your brother for his own father’s actions, and his own, your brother still didn’t trust him that well. However, your mother had taught the both of you that everyone deserved a second chance if they showed that they were willing to make a change for it. So that’s what he did.
He invited Ursal to the palace on numerous occasions and even invited him to live there once. Being the King, no-one dared object your brother’s decisions. Not even the Elders who seemed to still be a tiny bit concerned that Ursal might betray you and leave you heartbroken.
However, your brother, Tritan, could see the love between you and Ursal. He claimed that Ursal had changed for the better good and there was nothing to worry about.
So he and Ursal became friends and everything seemed all fine and dandy between them. That was until you were captured by sea pirates ….
It was during your birthday party, in which the whole sea kingdom was invited. There was food, a band, a birthday cake and games and even a table filled to the brim with birthday presents.
It wasn’t every day that a member of the royal family turned twenty-one. It was the coming of age when they would become a potential candidate for the thrown in case the current head ever died or was not able to fulfill their duty.
However, it also ment that you were supposed to act more mature for your age, which of course was something that the Elders hoped you would understand. It ment that you could no longer go on any adventures or do anymore of the ridiculous things that you thought were fun to do.
This of course upset you and made you go outside on the terrace, causing an uproar winthin the meeting hall. The guests could not believe that the Elders had made you upset, but they listened to your brother’s instructions and carried on with their business as your brother came to check on you.
“(Y/N), you know they only want was is best for you … you know how they get this time of the year.” Tritan says as he gently places a hand on your shoulder in an attempt to comfort you.
“Just because mom and dad died doing what they loved doesn’t mean that I will” you told him as you brushed his hand away and gripped the stone railing to try to calm yourself down.
