Bangalore: the IT hub of India
Whenever the word IT pops up in my head the only city that comes to my mind is Bangalore. Bangalore also is known as Bengaluru is the capital of the state of Karnataka. Also known as the ”silicon valley of India”(It hub of India ). Located on the Deccan plateau this city is home to over 10 million people making it the third-most populous city in India. It is a megacity which is multi-ethnic, multi-religious and a cluster of culture and technology. Being a home to a dozen IT companies Bangalore is the second-fastest-growing metropolitan city in India. It is blessed with a benevolent climate, a modern metro system, and a burgeoning drinking, dining and shopping scene.
Why is Bangalore the second-fastest-growing metropolitan ?
Bangalore has an estimated economy of $45-$83 billion and is ranked as the fourth most productive metro. With economic growth of 10.3%, Bangalore is the second-fastest-growing major metropolis in India,[143] and is also the country’s fourth-largest fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market. It is called the IT hub of India because it contributes about 33% to India’s IT exports. Companies like Infosys and Wipro have their headquarters here. Other than that it is home to various public sectors like Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) and HMT (formerly Hindustan Machine Tools). Other than that Bangalore companies like as ABB, Airbus, Bosch, Boeing, General Electric, General Motors, Google, Liebherr-Aerospace, Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, Nokia, Oracle, Philips, Shell, Toyota and Tyco have their research centres here.
Education in Bangalore-
Bangalore has a really good education system for schooling level there are several boards like SSCL, CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGSE, NIOS. And After completing their secondary education, students either attend Pre University (PUC) or continue high school in one of three streams – arts, commerce or science.[205] Alternatively, students may also enrol in diploma courses. One can find one of the best research institutes and universities. The central college of Bangalore which was established in 1882 it is the oldest university here. Some private and deemed universities in Bangalore include institutes like Symbiosis International University, SVKM’s NMIMS, CMR University, Christ University, Jain University, PES University and M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. There are various institutes like International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Indian Institute of Science, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS).

1]Bangalore palace-
This is a palace that is owned by the Mysore royal family. It’s an epitome of great architecture and beauty. It is a mixture of the Tudor and Scottish architecture. Apart from being the centre of attraction and being a beautiful palace, this palace is a host to different cultural events, rock shows, and marriages. It’s really a place one should visit.
2]Lalbagh-
Lalbagh is nationally and internationally renowned centre for botanical artwork, the scientific study of plants and also conservation of plants. It has over 1854 species of plants it’s a haven for plant lovers. Other than that there ”The Lal Bagh” rock which is 3000 million years old is a tourist attraction.
3]Banerghatta national park –
Bannerghatta national park is the first butterfly park in the nation it is a wonderful sight for all the nature lovers. One can spot crocodiles, tigers various rare species, etc. One can also go for safari rides here.
4]Commercial street-
This is definitely a street that should be hit up by all the shopping freaks. It consists of Jimmy Choo stores right up to local saree shops. It is all available for a cheap price and nearby. This is also a place for silver lovers people can find various different authentic silver collections.
5]ISKCON temple-
ISKCON temple is a shrine that is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple enrolls members for life and arranges programs in their community centres for Krishna consciousness and awareness of the Lord. Other than it’s a really beautiful temple and one must definitely visit it.

Other than that Bangalore has a lot more to offer. It is a tourist hotspot as well as growing metropolitan where people can live and have a really good life. Also if I were an engineer I’d definitely live there because that is the hub.
