Church park Sacred heart LKG admission 2020-2021
Hi all.. I’m planning to apply in Sacred heart Church park for my daughter in LKG 2020-2021 academic year. My daughter is July 7 2017 born, so she will be completing 3 years in July 2020. What is the age criteria for Sacred heart? Can anyone please help how to apply there and any idea when they will be issuing the application form?

Online Application form can be downloaded from February 2021. Yet to receive the notification. With regard to age criteria kids should have completed 3 years on or before 30, June.

Can any of the parents share your experience for on-boarding your kid if she is born on 7/7, just 7 days outside the deadline of 30th June (cut-off). Ursulas deadline is 31/7 which is more apt, but we are looking to secure a seat in Sacred Heart. Any past experience with similar parents would be of help. Because they said it’s management discretion for the 7 days.

Yes I’m going to apply for both sacred heart and Ursula’s but Ursala has given 31st July as cut off so hoping atleast i get a call from them. Sacred heart or Ursula’s which is better?

Both follow the same samacheer syllabus…. both are equally good, but sacred heart has an edge!

any insight on the selection criteria would be really appreciated. I’m a NRI now, but plans to come back early next year is it required to have both the parents at the time of the interview?

yes, it is ideal to have both the parents in d interview. maybe in your case they can treat as exceptional.

kids parents qualification; distance between home and school; if you are a catholic christian then chances are high;

I’m a hindu with MBA and my spouse with B.Sc as qualification and our residence is around 2.5kms from the school. Kid is currently going to preschool near our house. Hoping for the best.

i heard from one of my friend that they (sacred heart, ursulas) issue only 300 applications and first 300 applications are the ones that they invite for interview, is it true? but when i enquired in the school they said nothing like that and the applications window will be kept open for 3 days.. Any update for me? how do they short list kids for interview? our kid was born on 7/7/2017 and its only St Ursulas which has kept the birth window date till 31st july 2017, rest all schools are either March, May or June (sacred heart). So we are desperate for St. Ursulas, as our kid birth date falls 7 days after 30th June (sacred heart deadline). Looking forward for suggestions and first hand experience about the interview process

we have submitted the application form for St. Ursulas today, anyone else submitted their application for Ursulas? 5th Feb is the submission date for Sacred Heart? it would be great to have parents who have applied for Chruch Park in this forum so that we can discuss on the interview dates and other information.

We are doing the same, unfortunately SH changed the deadline to 30.6.2020 for the kid to complete 3years, earlier they mentioned it as 31.7.2020. my daughter completes 3yrs on 7/7/2020. Little worried if they will accept n consider for interview

Ya we also submitted the application today, they told by March first week they would be inviting people for interview, please keep us posted here in the forum. Both follow the same syllabus now, more or less the same faculty, but as per my research Sacred heart as got an edge.

Let’s hope they are little lenient, so your daughter is from May 2016 is it.. mine is from July 2017. 7 days younger than their limit. Let’s hope for the best

I think they might call from last week of Feb or early March, however the criteria is definitely unknown. It would be great if any of the parents from previous year could help us. Requesting parents to keep us informed if they start getting calls for interview.
I received an invite on 24th Feb for my daughter from scared heart saying to be present with the kid on March 5th with original documents.
Do any parent know what will be the process like interview for kid or parents on what base they will select.
@gayathri17 , if u get interview call from church park 99 %admission confirmed ,no need not worry abt interview just a formality process. After tat they will give admission card to pay fee.

Congrats Gayathri, i also received an email this morning to come at 8.30 AM on 5th March 2020. Appreciate if people can share some past experience. Also they have mentioned about medical certificate from registered medical practitioner, what does that mean?
Congrats dear, our schedule is at 9.30 am. Ya even I’m seeking for an idea on medical certificate.

@75farzanaismail I read in one of the comment that Sacred Heart rejected your first daughter’s application; is it after the invite for the interview or you did not get the interview email only. Any clue on what grounds they rejected her application initially?
